Is it fun to travel by yourself?

Yeees it is, here I will write about what I did on my 2 days´ trip to Prague.

PLACES TO VISIT
  • Prague Castle

  • John Lennon wall

  • Dancing House

  • Old Town Square

  • Prague Astronomical Clock

  • Charles bridge

Prague Castle. Beautiful view of the city!

John Lennon Wall.

Dancing house- an iconic picture place ;) visit during daytime and night-time.

Old Town Square. You will also find Prague Astronomical Clock here :)

You might find beautiful buildings/places by randomly walking in the city with no maps.

Charles bridge - The city by night feels like another city. Here I was with a friend from the hostel. I usually don´t go by myself during the night as a solo traveller, otherwise, I make sure there are many people around :)

RESTAURANTS & FOOD:
  • U Pinkasu - I tried Old Bohemian beef with bread dumpling.

  • U Medvidku - I ate Potato pancakes.

  • Lokál - Meat with cabbage and potato dumplings.

  • Café Louvre - waffles, strawberry soup!

  • Try local pastry Trdelnik.

U Pinkasu. I ate Old Bohemian beef with bread dumpling.

U Medvidku. They had delicious traditional Potato pancakes.

Lokál. I ate meat with cabbage and potato dumplings.

Tried local Czech Pastry Trdelnik. I chose chocolate inside :))

Other things to do in Prague
  • Try local pastry Trdelnik.

  • Walking in the city during the night. (Old town square, Charles bridge and dancing house).

  • Beer garden

  • Free walking tour

Accommodation

I stayed at Hostel One Home, Prague. It was good and I recommend it. They have daily activities and free dinners, which makes it easy to meet other people.

I always recommend choosing a hostel with top/good reviews on HostelWorld.com (not sponsored:P) when you are solo travelling (depending on your preferences of course).

Hostel One Home, Prague. I met some wonderful people here during the activities they organize.

Enjoy your trip! :) My next destination was Vienna, which cost 15 euros with the train. You can find all my recommendations in my next blog post!

Let me know if you have any questions! :)//Diana
