Here comes my top 10 things to do when solo travelling! Hope you guys enjoy!
1. Free walking tour
I think a free walking tour/a guided tour is one of the best ways to start your solo trip! You get some insights about the history and also an overlook of the city. You can afterwards go back to those places you find interesting. You can ask the guide for more advice on what to do/where to eat!
2. Super markets!
I love going to supermarkets!! It´s one of my favourite things to do:P Go around and try to spot what they offer differently. I´ve for instance found Yellow Passion fruit and white strawberries:P but here I found chocolate with my name Diana lol;
3. Try Local food and snacks!
I always make sure to try the local food. It´s interesting to learn more about the food culture and see what each country has to offer.
In Hong kong:P maybe it´s just me who didn´t know..
I was very surprised by the local food in Czech Republic and in Austria.
4. Nature/parks/Castle
I love visiting some nature places, especially some sort of hill/castle. The best part is when you reach the top! It is really the best feeling. The view from above is beautiful and that´s usually when it hits me that I´m solo travelling and I think to myself "wow, I made it here" :PP
Alcazaba in Malaga, Spain. It was so relaxing to explore the castle and have a beautiful view from above, it´s one of the best things to do as a solo traveller!
Nature place can be sooo calming place, I really love it!
5. Museums
Museums is another good way to learn something new. You can google which ones there are and choose the ones you are interested in. I usually visit the National History museums and sometimes Art museums.
Picasso Museum Malaga - I remember really liking this museum and feeling inspired by Picasso´s work!
Belvedere in Vienna was an unexpected experience lol. They also have the art of Gustav Klimt etc.
6. Church/Mosque/Temples/Synagogues etc.
I usually find it calming to visit any type of religious building, so no need to actually be religious. For instance, in Europe, you find many cathedrals that have a very high ceiling, and you feel so small when you walk there:P
Salzburg Cathedral might be the most beautiful cathedral I´ve stepped into. I just remember being very chocked when I came inside..
7. Shopping street - Try the local style!
It can be both fun to see and try on the local style! You don´t need to buy the clothes if you don´t like them:). Actually, when solo travelling, I can feel that going shopping is more within my comfort zone as it doesn´t differ much from shopping in my home country. But sometimes I find it nice to just be in my comfy zone ;)
In Japan I tried to dress like a local, I had a fun experience observing the style in the shops and trying to re-create it:P
8. Visit and do the things that are Unique for the country!
Google and see what is unique for the country, it could also be an activity to do and not just a place to visit. For instance, in Taiwan you maybe want to visit the Nightmarket, in Japan a Sumo show and in Vienna a classical concert?

9. Make Day trips!
Don´t forget to check if there are any recommended day trips to make from the city you are in! Many times there are very beautiful places very close to the city you are in. My day trip to Königssee has been my favourite so far, it was the most beautiful place I´ve ever seen!

10. Last point - Dare to ask people to take a pic for you!:P
Enjoy taking some beautiful pics/videos yourself, but you should try asking people to take a pic of you too! It´s actually a fun experience, and the person might ask you to take a pic for them too :)
If u see another solo traveller trying to take a selfie, why not ask them if they need help taking a picture! ;)) #strugglewithsolotravel...toomanyselfies..
